Speer is a Diplomate, Board Certified Periodontist by the American Board of Periodontology, and maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and dental implants in Dallas, TX.

Originally from Brazil, she graduated summa cum laude and class valedictorian from dental school. Dr. Speer’s desire to perfect her skills in advanced surgical treatment led her to obtain a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science Degree from The University of Texas, School of Dentistry at Houston.

Her areas of expertise include: periodontal regenerative procedures; mucogingival regeneration; implant site development; treatment of peri-implantitis, and other implant complications.

Dr. Speer is the director of a prestigious Seattle Study Club in Dallas (Highland Park Premier Study Network). She served as a clinical professor and director of the Implant Surgical Course for the Restorative Sciences Department at Texas A&M University, Baylor College of Dentistry, in Dallas, TX from 2013–2018.

Dr. Speer is also a member of the ADA, AAP, TDA, DCDS, and SWSP.
