Meet Dr. Ken Jenn-Hwan Chen:

Dr. Ken Jenn-Hwan Chen is a board-certified prosthodontist (specialist in dentures, crowns, bridges and implants) and also a fellow of American College of Prosthodontists. He holds a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from University of Washington in Seattle. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Chen continued his education by completing an Advanced Education General Dentistry residency at The University of Texas at Houston, School of Dentistry where he received advanced and in-depth training in all areas of general dentistry including; root canal therapy, oral sedation, implantology, wisdom teeth removal, and periodontal surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Chen completed a 3-year specialty in Prosthodontics program and obtained certificate in Prosthodontics at Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry, where he had specialty training in all phases of restorative dental treatments, including; complete dentures (false teeth), partial dentures, full mouth rehabilitation, crowns, bridges, dental implants, esthetics (cosmetic), and occlusion (bite). In addition, he earned his Master of Science degree in Oral Biology at the same time of completion of Prosthodontics training. Dr. Chen was an assistant director of the Advanced Education General Dentistry department and currently is a clinical assistant professor in the implant clinic at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry.

He is an active member of American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics and the secretary of its credential committee. He takes many continuing education programs every year to provide the most advanced and evidence-based dental treatments for patients.

Outside of the dental practice, Dr. Chen loves spending time with his family and enjoys cooking and baking for family and friends.
