Introducing Your Dental Professionals
Dr. Andrew Lazaris
received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Biology. He was then selected to study dentistry at the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio– the #1 ranked dental school in the country. His commitment to general dentistry did not stop there. Seeking to expand his knowledge base in all areas of dentistry, he pursued a residency in General Dentistry. Post-graduate training included two years of hospital based training. The first year was at the Children's Hospital of Oklahoma, where he had the opportunity to perform hundreds of sedations. The second year (served as chief resident) was at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City where he supervised the implant program for general dentist and oral surgery residents as well as operating room cases. Dr. Lazaris has also lectured on oral surgery and prosthodontics (dentures).
Since completing his residency, Dr. Lazaris has been practicing in the North Dallas area, which has been his hometown since 1989, and founded Texas Dental, P.C. in 1998. Texas Dental, P.C. has been open since May 10th, 1999. Dr Lazaris was recently awarded the prestigious designation of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Lazaris currently serves as the President of the Dallas Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Wilson Lo
holds a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Houston Baptist University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1996. Dr. Lo was awarded numerous academic and clinical awards for his achievement and excellence in the fields of dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Lo pursued a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, completed his post doctoral training at Bolling AFB, Washington DC where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Lo also served in the United States Air Force as a Flight Dentist in the rank of Captain. While providing comprehensive dental care of the flying members of base Dyess AFB, Dr. Lo was named Dentist of the Year 98-99 by the 7th Wing United States Air Force. Dr. Lo was appointed as Assistant Professor by the Baylor College of Dentistry in 2003, and in 2006, Dr. Lo was awarded the prestigious designation of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Lo and his wife, Ardis, have been married since 2002. They live in Plano and have two children, daughter Avin and son Reaves.

Dr. Shane Ricci
received his BS in Biology and Biochemistry with Magna Cum Laude honors from West Texas A&M University. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, one of the top dental schools in the country. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Ricci elected to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio to acquire an expanded understanding of all facets of dentistry. This training provided in-depth academic and clinical experiences in IV and oral sedation, implantology, wisdom teeth removal, periodontal surgery, as well as all other areas of general dentistry.
Dr. Ricci is very active in continuing education to make it a priority to stay on the cutting edge of current technology, procedures, and literature, in order to provide the best care possible for his patients. Outside of the office Dr Ricci is an avid golfer, and enjoys staying active in sports and other outdoor activities.

Our Team
Our office consists of a team of experienced professionals led by Dr. Lazaris, Dr. Lo, and Dr. Ricci. We believe that our care should be comprehensive and courteous– responding fully to your individual needs and preferences.
Moneer, Office Manager
Tasked with ensuring the office runs efficiently and reliably, Moneer is an invaluable member of our team at Texas Dental. She holds a bachelor of arts in English Literature and Language, and as a self-described people person, she loves interacting with all our patients, whether they’re new patients or old friends of the practice. In her time away from the practice, Moneer enjoys being with her family and friends, watching movies, and listening to music.
Mayra—Front Desk/Patient Coordinator
A member of our team since 2004, Mayra says she is proud to work at Texas Dental because of the quality and care that is emphasized in everything we do, from the dental chair to the front desk. She appreciates that we are a team working together with a common vision of patient care. A friendly and warm people person, Mayra enjoys building relationships with our patients and the opportunity to be a part of their treatment process.
In her free time, Mayra likes crocheting, learning to knit, and her favorite thing, playing with her kids Madyson, Jonathan and Ethan.
D.A., Hygiene Coordinator
A member of our team since 2009, D.A. says she values that we all care about each other like family, and that includes our patients. In addition to helping our office run smoothly, she is currently taking college classes. D.A. describes our patients and doctors as second to none!
In her free hours, D.A. loves going country-western dancing and working out, as wella s spending time with her wonderful daughter, Renee.
Kamika, Dental Assistant
Kamika has assisted our doctors at Texas Dental since 2003. She loves that all the members of our office work together as a team to serve our patients with the best dental care we can provide. She and her husband, Jason, have two children, Cora and Kennedy, and when she has time, Kamika enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, and playing softball.
Gracie, Dental Assistant
Gracie holds an Associate degree in Art and Science, and has worked with our practice since 2006. An avid learner, she loves learning new techniques and using her acquired skills for our patients’ benefit. Gracie says she loves meeting new people and helping them feel at ease at our office.
When she’s not helping our dentists transform smiles, Gracie enjoys running and working out.
Julie, Dental Assistant
Julie joined our team in 2008 with over 10 years of experience in the dental field already. Our staff and our patients appreciate her expert touch and friendly approach. She blends in well with our honest and welcoming practice!
In her free hours, Julie enjoys gardening and yard work, as well as spending time with her family, especially her husband and their two girls, Kaley and Katelyn.
Tiffany, Dental Hygienist
Tiffany loves seeing patients who used to fear going to the dentist actually look forward to their visits at our practice—what a transformation! She credits our close-knit team and the relationships we build with our patients with the success, and says she finds her job rewarding in so many ways. Tiffany and her husband, Brandon, married in 2000, and now have two children, Grayson and Kennedy. She enjoys spending time at the family’s lake house, reading, playing with her kids, and snow skiing.
Amanda, Dental Hygienist
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene, and has worked with our practice since 2006. She appreciates that our doctors truly care about our patients and they treat them as conservatively as possible. Forming lasting relationships and seeing patients leave healthier than they arrived are Amanda’s favorite aspects of her job.
When she’s not working with our team to make patients smile, Amanda enjoys time with her husband, Brandon, dog, Larry, and cat, Hazy, as well as reading and watching movies.
