Restorative dentistry is the restoration of teeth and their supporting structures to normal oral health and function. If you’ve experienced the devastating effects of damaged, decayed or missing teeth, we are prepared to restore not only your smile but your confidence and peace of mind as well.
Dental Fillings
When decay is unavoidable, a dental filling is an affordable, natural-looking, and safe solution. Not only are our fillings at Texas Dental some of the most aesthetic restorations available today, but they’re strong and long lasting as well.
Inlays & Onlays
Inlays and onlays are used when the damage or decay to a tooth requires more than a filling but less than a crown. In other words, if your tooth does not have enough structure for a filling but it is not too severely damaged to warrant a crown, you may be an excellent candidate for an inlay or onlay.
Dental Implants
Dental implants have revolutionized the way we treat missing teeth. A dental implant is made up of three parts. A titanium screw is placed in your jaw, and an abutment, or connector, protrudes from the implant and holds the crown in place, the visible part of the implant.
Dental Bridges
A dental bridge, an excellent option for correcting tooth loss, is a device that literally bridges a gap created when teeth are lost, made up of one to three artificial teeth which are held in place by two crowns.
Dental Crowns
The crown of the tooth is the part that you can see above the gum line, while the roots lie below. When a natural crown is fractured or decayed and can’t be repaired by a filling, our dentists gently shape and fit an artificial crown to restore the function of the damaged tooth.
Root Canal Treatment
If your tooth is infected, endodontic treatment—a non-surgical root canal—is normally all that is needed to promote healing. Our doctors are highly trained in performing root canals, a common, fast, and routine dental procedure.
Tooth Extractions
It is always our goal to save your natural teeth whenever possible. When teeth become too decayed or damaged, and extraction is necessary, we use latest technology and cutting-edge techniques to provide safe, comfortable and quick extraction right here in our office.
Dentures
We not only restore our patients’ oral health with dentures, but in the process, we help them feel more confident, improve their speech, and eliminate prior eating restrictions. When ordering dentures through us, you won’t have to put up with the long waiting period typically involved with the creation of a new denture. We can help you get your smile back quickly and for much less than you’d expect.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
If your child is between the ages of 17-25, the ideal time for a wisdom tooth removal evaluation is now. The roots are not fully established, so the procedure will be simple and routine. Our friendly team is prepared to answer all your questions and gently guide you and your child through the process.
Sleep Apnea
Sleep apnea is a disorder that involves interrupted breathing patterns during a person’s sleep. Whether your case is mild or quite severe, we understand your frustration and concern. Our dentists will answer your questions and offer truly effective treatment methods that will put your sleep apnea to rest for good.
